So Major, I take it that you think that the "general" is a useful primate? Obviously the staff has taken a different opinion. It is his move to make for reinstatement, by way of u2u, would be my guess.
So you can stand down.

Intrepid,

Secretary of Defence.

I believe I'll stand up, the General is no ape, he's a fine man, and a worthy contributor. As an officer I find it somewhat humorous that a Canadian would even deign to presume the office of Secretary of Defense (or Defence in Canadia ), but as I said, only somewhat.

Quick over there, someone is invading with the intent to raid your HAM, I mean bacon.

Carry on.

I'll take your HAM, and I'll turn it into SPAM, pack it in 10 Lb olive drab tins and send it to some Third world country where they'll use it as a door stop.

Carry on.

We already export our sub-par HAM as SPAM. ANd yes, we already send it to Detroit, along with most of the Midwest.

No need to repackage.

How about if we quote the superior Generals own words, of which we should surely live by or tremble before his wrath

With the growing realisation among the ranks that indeed the mods do know what is best for the board, I am sure that the members can rest assured that their best interests are cared for.

Major, are you daring to question the General , getting ideas above your station maybe you should be peeling the spuds

*Paces through the enlisted and commissioned ranks*

I have observed this gathering long enough, only one conclusion have I found that should be suitable. It has been a tradition of this force for years, something which many old hands are familiar.

DEBATE, the two parties shall engage each other in debate. One on one, verbal typed combat.

*Walks out in front of all gathered*

Shall this be found acceptable to those of the Admin, to carry on the tradition founded so early in our collective history, it would appeal to the ranks enlisted and commissioned alike. I now leave those who are in a position to decide, to delegate this within and among themselves.

*Snaps to attention, does about face, and returns to FPD (Forum Patrol-
Detail).*

The General made no such statement, on 12 May 2004, or on any other day. The post ID and post number are much too high for May of this year, nor is there any recorded post in the General's Archive (also known as the member profile). While it may amuse you to contrive such things, the truth will come out.

No spuds for me.

To the stockade.
