This is probably a stupid question that's been answered, but how exactl do the admins choose who gets to debate? I mean do you just ask them, or they
choose from posts? Sorry if it's been asked before.

You ask them. Come up with a debate topic and find another person will debate you on the topic. Choose who will debate which side of the topic.
Then message william with all of this info. Ask him to make the debate and give you and the other person who will be debating debat posting access.
