When I make a post on a forum and go back to the forum index it does not say that I had made the last post, even if my post is the most recent. Does anyone have any information on this problem.

I would say that the forum index page is not being refreshed, instead you are gettng an old copy from the cache, either yours of the internet providers

Try the refresh button or CTRL F5 which forces a new download.,
