No points for fiction?

Topic started on 20-9-2003 @ 07:29 AM by UniversalFiction

I've just finished posting the last part of a 10,000 word short story written specially for ATS, in the Member Short Story forum, but noticed while I was doing so that you don't get any ATS points for fiction.

I just wondered if there was a reason for this? Don't get me wrong, I didn't just do it for the points, but it seems a little weird that hard work like this isn't rewarded

Incidentally, I quote William from another thread:

The biggest points gold mines are debating, contributing to fiction, and soon... the research forum.

I assume this only applies to the Collaborative Fiction forum?

Yes... collaborative fiction.

We're working out a way that members who post to the short story forum get points for views, rather than posts... but it's got some bugs still. When this launches, you'll retroactive points for all previous views.
