This question is for William and Simon. Does ATS make a good income for the both of you to live your lives, or do you work a full-time job and run ATS
on your free time? So in other words, is ATS big enough where you can just rely on it to bring you enough income to live a good life? Or do you need a
side job (other than ATS) to pay the bills and whatever expenses. I hope I don't seem nosey, I was just curious.

I doubt Simon makes enough from ATS to survive. It is already known that the site is in need of upgradeing...again. And if the revenue from this site
was decent I do not think it would be a question as to the advertiseing and upkeep for this site.

I believe current ad revenue is just enough to cover hosting costs, and maybe pay a bit of back costs (I believe that William was eating the cost out
of his pocket for some time).
Therefore, in the interest of furthering ATS and making it possible to stay online, EVERYONE please click a couple of ads a day....

William is an IT director. ATS is most likely not his only site. He probably works on several, and judging by his location (manhattan) makes enough to
buy or sell almost any one of us, because NYC has one of the highest cost of living averages in the country. Simon, I'm sure has a job. I'm not too
sure what though, As I don't think he's good for anything.....J/K. I Lub Joo Simon. Anyhow....Peace.

hehehe...
I work in advertising. I run the interactive/digital department of a mid-sized (90 people) agency in NYC. And yes, the cost of living here is
horrible... but the perks are worth it, I wouldn't live anywere else... my two sons in college are learning tolerance and diversity first-hand.
As for cash... ATS is beginning to turn the corner as a site that can support itself (still waiting for the first check from Google), but not myself
or Simon... it's very, very far from that.

That was a great question. I didn't think I was still going to be hanging around this long because what I was initially seeking is not found here.
But other things have intrigued me about this board which keeps me coming back. And that includes William & Simon.

William has already mentioned that the advertising is now reaching a point that the website is self-sustaining.
I work in Internet/I.T. support for Nationwide Building Society in the UK. The national headquarters is just 10 minutes drive from my house. While
Swindon is far from an extravagant Manhattan life, I've adopted a more locale location to stay closer to family.
