hey! I can't upload my avatar pic. all it says every time I try to do it is, (access error: atsmedia.cachefly.net... - ) I tried several different pics too.

What file and pixel size is it?

It shouldn't have "/forum/thread..." in it and it should end in .jpg or .gif.

I have no idea how they manage to do that, I've never been able to figure that one out.

Seems all is well here.

I am just trying to see if the picture from my files will come on as a avatar. My pictures have a nasty habit of not copying even though they are jpegs. No place else I could try it off the bat 'cept here.

Hey Corgidancer, somehow the url that you are trying to use has invalid references to it.

It should look like this: http://uploads.abovetopsecret.com/ats35783_corgidancer_2.jpg


Also the image itself is way too large. Should be 160 pixels wide x 320 pixels high, or less. (and no more than 75kb filesize)

The image you are trying to use, exceeds those limits.

Resize the image, and try again.

I haven't read all of the thread, so I apologize if this has been mentioned.

A great program is Avatar Sizer. A search will show it.

Sorry guys, last one I promise. This one is a wallpaper and it looks huge in my member center- Just making sure it will resize itself to the forums.

Your current avatar is a link to some image on your computer, this will not work. You must upload it to a server on the Internet. Also the image won't automatically re-size to fit as an ATS avatar.

Upload the image here: www.imageshack.us...

Then post the link it gives you in this forum and I will make it the right size and give you the link.
