At this juncture, with under 70 posts to go, the 200,000th post will be in the next 75-80 minutes.

chebob who posted the 100,000th post became known in his mini-profile as poster of the 100,000th post. That 'glory' can never be taken from him.

I'm reasonably happy with my entry about the time of the post, but remember thay had to be in GMT...

In the world of ATS avarice, I would rather have the currency of 20,000 ATS points than the honor of the 200,000th post itself.

I think it would be a better tradition to keep the multiples of six figure posts in the hands of the bobs, and it may be appropriate that the next such honor moves from chebob to billybob.

I like coincidences like that.

you and me both, ma. co-incidence. not as in haphazard quirky weirdness, but as in "happened at the same time". i like to think that ferreting out the meaning that experience has provided helps us consciously evolve into higher awareness. to me, every step i take is a co-incidence.
i don't really care about it(the 200, 000th post), though i admit to a slight buzz as i share the anticipation of posters who do care.

One of my other favorite bobs was Bob who was responsible for much of the demonic possession and shennanigans in Twin Peaks.

David Lynch is one of the few writers and directors who can truly be said to belong in the 'fiction is stranger than truth' category.

He should visit ATS more often, has anyone invited him?
