Energy Problems

We are burning up all our oil. If we do not find another source of energy all the oil we be gone in a short amount of time.

I disagree with this statement, I do not see oil going away, rather the monopolization of it for political and economical gain.

Yes politically we should wean ourself from the evil oil . . . but as you can see corporate American rather have us hooks on their evil hold.

We have some of the highest reserves of hydrocarbon energy in the world in or close to the US.

Oil shale : 1.2 trillion barrels of recoverable oil.

Liquified coal: 360 years worth of motoring fun.

Oil sands: 176 billion barrels(canada)

gas hydrates : possibly 30,000 years worth of methane(NatGas)

Uranium: to produce energy to make hydrogen from water 7,000 years worth
