Should we not head in the direction of this mans teaching

Looking at politics and the the way the world is heading towards, is it time to go back and visit the thoughts of Gandhi. Though he lived for the independence of India there is a lot to learn for the wider world community.

There are many more articles and pages on the net for information. Wanted to know what others who read these felt and thought that it would be the right way ahead for the world...

It sure couldn't hurt. Unfortunately the rabid fundamentalist muslims hate hindus and buddhists even more than Jews and christians. Course, I'm not buying any guns.

My favorite Gandhi story is when he lost a shoe boarding a train. He took the other one off and threw it. When asked why. He explained: "Now the poor man who finds them will have two shoes, not just one."

Even if he hadn't transformed India, he would still be a saint.
