Well seeing as I've never clicked on this forum section before, I did'nt know what to expect, well OK I expected alot more, what I did'nt expect is
to click into a forum on ATS/PTS that contained all the threads made on one page.
It would appear there is little to no life-blood for socialism here on ATS/PTS, that is very sad.
I'm sure there would be some who argue that there's nothing to talk about in regard to Socialism, well I say bull huckey, theres a great deal to
talk about.
-Ways in which to pormote socialist ethics and systems, like Universal healthcare in places in the world (U.S.A) that don't have it.
-The benefits socialism can have on a small and large scale.
-The socialists candidates for elections.
There are more, but I honestly don't think I should need to list them all.
So now at the end of my post, I think to myself this,
"What's the point on even making this thread? it won't stir a ferver to ignite in this section. It's most likely useless."
However, I must persevere in hoping that just maybe those who have posted here before in support of socialism may take a renewed interest and that
newer members may take an interest in the great political.social system that is socialism.

You want to know why I do not post?
Simple name calling and the fact people do not bother to read, I am not here to educate people because they can't be bothered to get a free book off
of the internet.
So instead, I actually do talks in a public setting, I get invited to events on the War on Terrorism, etc and I bother to talk to people who desire to
listen. Instead of hearing "Commie", "Pinko", etc for what I have to say people ask valid questions.
Worse thing yet, is that such name calling is tolerated here. Especailly when many former members [who posted on this site] were heavily educated on
the topic and left.

On a much nicer note, I am working on something and planning on posting it here once I have purchased my own domain. If you're interested in
Socialism, you might like what it is. :-) Hopefully, Mid-April it'll all be ready.

I second what Odie says. It is too hard to open eyes that have been sealed shut. I am tired of defending my beliefs from retards who didnt even pay
attention in high school. How can you force people to go out and do some independent reading?
I guess its a combination of these idiots inability to look past what they think they know and into something new, and my inability to properly convey
my ideas without wanting to choke someone.
