ATS Should not be tolerating this Racism

REPLY: Since we're talking of "rights", free speech is the second most important one we have here in America (the 2nd Amendment is the MOST important, for without the second, all others are easily taken away.)
So.... you wish to restrict or control the speech on the forum, but it's OK for criminals to roam the streets talking about THEIR "rights"? American citizens have rights, and illegals have no "rights" in this country.

REPLY: You've fallen into the media trap.... they are not immigrants, they are ILLEGAL aliens. Big difference. In order to be immigrants under the law, they have to do it legally.

REPLY: Check the statistics of how many mexicans are in jail/prison in California, alone. There is no such thing as an "Hispanic"..... that was a term thought up a few years ago by the Left, so they can be grouped together and pandered to, and buy votes from.... as were the black Americans.

REPLY: .... and has been the downfall of countless civilizations throughout history. A "Free World"? If that were true of.... say.... Mexico, why do they come here if their own country is so tolerant and free? Cuba? ..... I'm still waiting for the news story of someone dying trying to get to Cuba in a rowboat.

Fact is, we have the right to defend our borders as does Mexico. Go read the Mexican Constitution, and see about "Tolerance" and "Rights."

Also, go to www.wehategringos.com... and see what many illegals think, and how they feel about tolerance. Go to Mexico and stand on the corner talking about politics, and you'll find yourself in jail; try to become a miniter or preacher in Mexico... same outcome.

The Mexican issue is the same as the Palestinian issue.... both lost their land because they lost the wars. There is no "occupation" of either land.

Legal or Illegal??? I don't think the debate is about legal immigrants, but illegals. One of my best friends in the whole wide world immigrated here legally from Cuba in the 70's.

I thought this article was interesting. As for as immigration goes, I'm sure most of us have immigrants from the past in our heritage, But give me a break..... the illegals are taking over, and America will fall on it's face because of it!

In reference to your quotes by me, what my goal here again is not to discuss immigration itself. My problem is that whether someone is a legal immigrant or an illegal alien, they are still a human being and deserve rights.

Alot of their rights are not being respected from some of the posts I have read.

There are plenty of threads about immigration issues.

They can all be found at PTS Social Issues

I'm sure chissler didn't create this thread for people to discuss immigration issues in the U.S.
He spotted an issue and the Three Amigos have responded on the very first page.

Amen to Umbrax.

The question raised here was not the legality of these immigrants crossing the borders. It was that everyone of them still deserves rights and should not be slandered the way they have been, especially not across the fine boards of ATS.

What we are saying is this thread is not about illegal aliens and what rights they deserve while in the United States.

What I was saying was they are all human beings and deserve the basic human rights regardless of their status in the eyes of the law. Members have posted alot of comments that nobody should ever say of anyone, and this thread was created to help put a stop to that.
