i do not know how to put an image under my name or in the sig -box. please help me.

Some people are allergic to FAQ's so here goes...

Click Control panel
Then click edit profile
Go all the way down till you see a box that says Avatar URL then type in the location of your avatar.

You can't link directly from your harddrive so your going to need to either upload it or link to an avatar site, if your gonna upload click the UPLOAD button (its between complain and ATS Store on the banner) and choose the image from your harddrive to upload.
Hit the upload button and you'll have saved the image to your little upload account.

Your image will be presented with a number
www.abovetopsecret.com... is my avatar location

yours will be www.abovetopsecret.com... so stick that in the box and You'll have a shiny new avatar.

Beware: there are size limitations, i think they're 150x175.

I did. its telling me to speak with an administrator..... i just need a certain code to put in

Is that the picture you want under your name?? If so, its a mite too large. Normally avatars are around 160 wide, and up to 320 long, no more than 75k large.

HTML is not allowed, at all, in your signature or profile. Use the BBcode ( www.abovetopsecret.com... ) for HTML-like formatting options.

really? I did not know that. The only html I use in my signature is center and thats only because bb center does not work.

I know this isn't the sig thread...but a comment came up that I was wondering about as well. In my sig, I want to use ASCII art, but it's not formatting correctly with the BB codes. I've tried multiple times..any suggestions?

I would play with the font tags, change the font to a typewriter font or one that is consistently lined up.
