When I edit my profile and come back to the control panel when I click 'EDIT PROFILE' it saus "your profile has been edited..."

I loged out and restarted and it still does it

What are you attempting to edit that is not being recognised on clicking the confirmation button?

Well I click on "edit profile" from the user home it says "Your profile has been succesfully updated,you will now be taken back to your user control panel."

And same thing on certain posts,I click "reply" and it says "Thank you,your post has been submited..etc"

Are you actually editing anything in the Control Panel is what I meant? Are you changing the timezone, altering your mood, signature, etc.?

but I don't think there is a problem Darkside..I think it's doing what it's suppose to do as mine does the same thing. It's letting you know you've submitted a post and letting you know you have edited your profile (whether you have or not is up to you)

I'm just not seeing where your troubles lie

I found out what it whas.

It was a problem with my temp files.I had it set to "never check for more recent versions of the page" or something like that.
