Liberalist?

Topic started on 8-6-2006 @ 03:55 PM by thesnafued1

I was at my friends house, old debate coach to be excact, and he wipes out this computer program quiz that tells you which way of the politcal spectrum your at. It also gives you a refrence to differnt ideas and politcal works that you might be intrested in.

Being a conservative/nationalist i already knew where i would be, but it to my surprise it said i was a liberalist. Is that the classical liberalism of the enlitenment or something more recent?

I dont buy Liberalism as a political ideology. Instead I see the concept as a part of the dumbing down of society. The fact that two thrids of American students cant find Iraq on a map is proof that there society is being dumb down. If society wasnt being dumb down people wouldnt buy the retarded Liberal vs conservative political spectrum.

Note I think that the same applys to the conservative side of the coin.

I have to agree with xpert on this one.

When it comes to quizzes and computer programs, they do not take into consideration the many and varied factors that one may believe in.

You may be "hard core" about one conservative issue, and feel not that strongly about another, and vise versa.
