Ive been working on this idea for a while now, but unfortunately I kept forgetting about it, however, I did manage to keep opening my notepad and adding bits to it as time went by. I wrote it in a 'brain storming' fashion and thought I would pad it out with prose at some point in the future. But I had a look again today, after the last time I looked which was about a week ago, and thought, just post the blummin' thing! So I am

So, without further ado, my brainstorm ideas for a new board!

New Board Suggestion - Cults, Mind Control & Memetics

Anything of the mind that isnt paranormal or a medical conspiracy.

-Cults-
New cults and old, yes includes religions too but MUST be of 'The Mind', aspects of religions or ideologies that are intended to act as thought guidlines and/or manipulation

-Ideas-
Conspiracy theories (in general not specific), hollywood genres, media outlook, paragrim shifts, [books & films ], hoaxes/myths, implantation of previously unknown information states; re-emergence or instigation of other, perhaps older thought processes

-Mind Control-
Old and new, evidence, 'show & tell', multiple information states, forced state changes

-Mind minipulation-
Subliminal messages, consumer exploitations, cell towers, viral marketing, 'e-mail gossip', known and new psychological tatics, technology
(corporate use of information state warfare [ISW],)
(use of images/symbols/concepts to 'move' unrelated entities based on subconscious reasoning)

-Social control-
TV, fashion industry, corporate research, money, caste systems, music, newspapers, capitalist approach to ISW

-Dogma -
(A code of beliefs accepted as authoritative)
Education, corporate work place, banking, police & army, communities (science, religion and medical have their own boards to discuss their dogmas so I left them out), enforcement/re-enforcement of information state.

To help make this clear I have added some examples why we would benifit from this new board. Ive bolded out the name of the relevant boards that certain topics would probably go in.

Schizophrenia - Paranormal = Spirtual contact, unknown forces
Schizophrenia - Medical Conspiracy = medication, virusus, treatment,
Schizophrenia - Cults, Mind Control & Memetics = known forces, triggers, social control

Deja vu - Paranormal = ESP, dreaming of the future
Deja vu - Medical Conspiracies = anti-psychotic treatment, epilepsy, disorder
Deja vu - Cults, Mind Control & Memetics = re-creation in labotory, external manipultaion

Money - Political Conspiracies = fruad, corruption, poverty
Money - Education & Media = student loans, corporate funding
Money - Cults, Mind Control & Memetics = social control, debt, greed, banking system

I missed the vote for the survival forum thread and am doing so now. Thanks for your help.

On BTS there is a "Interesting Sites" Forum about things that aren't conspiracy related.How about creating another one here on ATS,only it IS conspiracy related,and we could add other sites dealing with secrets as well.

These smileys we got are nice,but I would love to see a "suspicious" smiley.Also in ignorancedenied they got some smileys that we don't have,like that holy smiley with a golden halo on it's head.

Hey now that I think about it,I think the reason people ask for more forums to be created is because maybe they want this site to become more universal.
Its like they want something big and popular to get even bigger.

Bigger is not necessarily better though. ATS preaches quality over quantity.

I feel most topics are covered by the existing forums. But if we uncover a need for additional forums, I would support it. However, it is important that quality posts are injected into the forum, rather than creating it for the sake of having it.

A lot of the requested forums are unnecessary in my opinion.

So far the only Forum I would support 100% would be the Automotive Forum.

This has probably been mentioned already,

Vid casts-video podcasts i would like to see in the future.

ATS radio-as described in the 3 amigoes last podcast.

Other than that,I love ATS how it is.

The thing is I could find you many recent posts that would do better in the forum I suggested, in fact many people put posts in, lets say, NWO forum because it didnt fit elsewhere, then you get people hung up on the 'How is this NWO related' etc. There is nothing on this site for discussion of the mind, you would have to stick it in NWO or medical conspiracies when neither will do. Now I think the mind is an important subject when dealing with a conspiracies, its actually essential to it all.

Would be quite the goal to strive for.

Why not have a premium forum, where one must pay to post on it. Say like a buck a month or something. And because members posting there are paying for it, they could expect a lot of strict rules concerning posts. No mindless posts, no single posts, no bashing, etc., thats found on a lot of other threads. Hopefully, that could weed out the riff raff, and more developed threads could fluorish.

Maybe it could be read by all ATS members, but you would have to pay to post on it.

A pets Forum on BTS.. I've seen lots of pics of peoples cats, and dogs etc..

Basically, because that's not what ATS is.

As SO, Simon & Springer have said numerous times before,
ATS will never be a pay forum in anyway, it'll always be free.

And because people it would throw ATS into decline.

we should have a buy and sell area
say if someone is selling something on ebay/amazon and so on they could post it and get some feedback and so forth
