A crime forum would be good, where members can post, and attempt to solve the latest crimes. We have something similar in the 911 conspiracies, where
members have hunted down info, and then break it down, to see if any of it makes sense. No matter how you view 911, official story believer or not,
911 was a crime.
The BTK killer would have been a good one, that monster gave a lot of info. I pretty much figure with a lot of people working on it here, that case
might have been solved a lot sooner. Honestly there are some brilliant minds here with different expertise, and a lot of talent here that could be
used to solve some major crimes.

I see this thead thread come back occasionally and haven't ever had anything to add. During this election season however there are tons of threads
that by the time I get to the bottom, occasionally a very long way to the bottom of the first page I see the same people saying the same things over
and over again.
I would find it more efficient if there was a "recent threads" button at the bottom of the page instead of scrolling all the way back to the top.
I star many more threads then I post to so the "back" button just brings me back to said starred thread.
Is another forum direction bar at the bottom of the page a good idea or a waste of time/space?

My heart would skip a beat if there were more graphic contests.
You could have photoshop manipulations, Gifts (making graphics for people on the board),wallpapers, you get the general idea.
You could have user posted and Mod posted contests.
Examples:
Jasmine is having a contest for whoever can make a alien themed graphic layout, free web hosting to winner.
Or
Ufo_dude is having a contest for whoever can make a 800x800 desktop wallpaper with black and green colors, with popular conspiracy quotes.
Prizes based on whatever the person(s) have to give.
And I think a local conspiracy/crime one would be good. I know of a lot of injustices in the local area, that I feel might not be "big" enough to
capture any interest in the normal conspiracy boards.
I like the "bad star/flag" idea also, Flagging or whatever for Negative threads/rude people. I used to go somewhere that had a 3 bad flags and it
sent a mail to the mod. I'm not sure if that would make it easier for mods or harder though.
I really would love the graphic contests though.

Something like your caption competition, but in reverse . Ie you make up the caption involving some relevant to ATS topic say make an image ( in
photoshop etc ) of a mythical or your own made up cryptozoological ( is that the right word ) beast doing or acting out what the caption says . I know
you'd have to be able to use an image editor , but there must be quite a few people here that can , so we can admire their artwork. And you can give
points for the worst design, so everyone can join in. ...

I have what I think is a fantastic idea to improve ATS and even improve the visibility of the site for little or no cost, except for the owner(s)
having to recode.
Why not let members be able to VOTE UP good or outstanding replies to posts. It would eliminate all of the time wasted on silly or rambling replies,
and also make intelligent people who just happen to find a post here from off site want to read more., instead of clicking away from the site after
several dumb or long winded empty replies.
Allow us to vote (1 time only) for best reply for or against post, replier didn't read or undestand post, funniest reply, inapprpriate reply, etc.
and then we as viewers would have buttons to click (clickable buttons at top of thread) if we wanted to view the best reply for/against or funniest or
etc. Also, best response from a believer, or skeptic etc. The voting would be anonymously logged and ordered by the program, so nobody could be hurt
by seeing someones approval/disapproval.
It would also help out the mods because as the better replies move up from votes, the bad replies move down, unless of course one wanted to click on
view the worst replies.
It would also move the site up in overall site rankings to allow for choices as to which replies one wished to view as voted by the ATS membership.

May I suggest a LHC forum in the science section. With the darn thing coming on line it might make for less repetition in the threads.

I would love to see ATS hosting it's members images/videos.
That way we could just bring our pictures/videos straight to ATS no middle man(flickr, photobucket, youtube), the ATS video player should be HD so we
could examine videos a bit better. The images that get up loaded would automaticaly have an ATS water mark and no hot linking would be allowed.
Sorry if this has been posted before.

one of the things I'd REALLY like to see is an investigative forum for the most hottest forums on ATS so we can remove the comments of those that try
and derail a thread and really get down to debunking some of what we see on here.
I would be extremely happy to just read and never respond to what some of the conclusions to cases that have been presented on ATS. From viewing the
vid of ATS Investigation Team going to WA last week(?) at the Gilliland Ranch which I thought was awesome!!
For example: Someone throws a picture/vid up on ATS of a UFO. ATS investigation team scrutinizes the 'evidence' and decides to make it a case. After
all is said and done, a report will be published on the findings whether it's truly a hoax or not. Questions could be asked about the findings
through U2U or other venue but, only the team will be able to post the answers to the questions on that particular forum.
my 2 cents..

What about ATS Opinion Polls on various key topics, 9-11, God, reincarnation, etc. to see where everybody stands and in what numbers. One vote per
member, nice and fair. Something extra to do and could be interesting.
Don't know if you've already done this, only been here 6mths.

It seems to me that ATS is languishing. I think it would be a very good idea to start a web crawler type program to post breaking news of the kind
that interests the ATS community. Thisn would post 24/7 as opposed to relying mainluy on lazy ats members such as myself. The bot could also post
links and pictures and video if available to liven things up.
I will also state again that we need a ranking system to show not only the most poplar threads in the last few days, but also all time. The ability to
vote on posts/replies anonymously and rank them in order by best answer, best answer for, best answer against, funniest answer etc would be a big
help. it would alleviate all the searching (which we don't do anyway) and keep important topics like the Stephenville sighting alive because people
would invarably click on "show the alltime most popular posts on ATs" and people would be commenting on and voting on the ones that the ATS
community felt deserved special attention.
