Clinton spied on Princess Diana? Where is the uproar?

Presidents aren't kings, they are accountable to the American people and held in check from corrpution by legal authority.

Without a warrant, then how do you know Bush didn't just pick names from a telephone book? Or are we supposed to blindly accept whatever our Presidents do? Even Clinton?

If, by your logic, Bush can spy on any US citizen he chooses without explaining himself to the law, then Clinton should have the same right to spy on anyone he chooses.
