maybe i'm missing something...how do i get just a few select lines from a quote. some how i still end up whith the whole thing?..................thanks, hmmmmm

You can do it a couple of ways:

1. Hit the quote on the original message and delete the part you don't want to quote, or

2. Copy the portion of the original message you do want to quote and then hit the Insert Quoted text icon on the reply toolbar and paste the copied text into the pop-up window.
