Joshua Crick - I do not see the harm in trying.

we should do something, otherwise we just help the problem - do we not?

Well it seems that neformore has dropped out of the campaign race and the user said that they wouldn't mind helping me and 7Ayreon out.

Yes, it's in PTS, under Campaign 2007. And my own personal platform is linked in my signature.

I'm sorry to see that you limited the parties, and left out my party, the"DO YOUR DAMN JOB, GET MY DAMN VOTE!" party. Well, maybe next time.

There will be a primary in July. The top six vote earners will move on to the General Election.

Oh, I seem to have infringed on Intrepid's seemingly serious slogan with my self-effacing joke. That was wrong and I appologize. lol

Just ribbin' ya intrepid. yeah, you and I can share and share alike... I'm sure I'll be using your words against you plenty when the debates come. Just leave my graphics alone. UKWizard is doing a bangup job on them and I will protect them jealously... especially the next couple that are in the pipeline.

You do not have to be American to participate actually. I've had the advice of some of our very distinguished members from the UK, Canada, and Australia. As a matter of fact, I asked one of them to consider coming on to the ticket as my running mate, but he was unable to accept.

Pop into the campaign threads and rattle some cages. All nationalities welcome.

While I agree and welcome those that are not Americans to this election I would like to point out something...

Beginning in February 2007, any member of ATS can announce their candidacy for President of the United States, and let our members know about your platform. To keep things simple, we've limited party selection to these six:
Democrats
Republicans
Green
Libertarian
Reform
Socialist

Candidacy declarations will close on March 15, 2007.

So I am afraid that the deadline has passed for any new candidates. Unless of course that rule isn't set in stone. Then I say welcome aboard and have fun in this wonderful campaign.

By the way anyone know when the debates will start?

I joined ATS after the deadline but I would have liked to run...that brings me to much question how long are the terms because if its only a year maybe i can run then but if its 4 years.....thats a long time

That's a very good question, very good indeed, I'm suspecting that if there is general
good feedback from this, it may end up continuing and coinciding with the real elections,
so every four years.
