I live in the state of Michigan and we are a Democratic state for the most part, I don't understand why we are the last to hold these #$@## accountable.

Make drug firms accountable in Michigan

The Dec. 18 editorial defending Michigan's drug immunity law was off the mark ("Don't expose drug makers to business-killing lawsuits"). The News failed to mention that Michigan is the only state in the country that gives the drug industry complete immunity when its products harm or kill people. That means Michigan is the only state in the nation that cannot hold drug companies accountable when dangerous products like Vioxx, Bextra and Fen-Phen cause harm or death.
