Seems like a waste of time to me. But no more a waste than the constant non-binding votes of Americas Congress. Are they doing this because the new Pope isnt Polish? Or do they think naming Jesus King of Poland will stop the organized crime, extortion, drunkeness and child porn rings left behind in the wake of the Soviets demise? I dont mean to knock Poland. The country is beautiful but its hard to see its beauty when a thug smashes your car windows because youve failed to pay him for "guarding" it while you were visiting the dentist you had to pay out of pocket even though the healthcare is socialized.

Godspeed Poland. Youre country is in my prayers. As with all of the former Soviet nations and all the current nations wishing to become socialist.

Interesting. I mean, in england, the king must be protestant, can't be catholic. So can the king of poland be a jewish guy?

And if poland elected a pacifist honourary king, would they have to disband the army?


Considering that church bishops were spying on poland in collaboration with the communist government, and lied about it and only even stepped down recently over it, I'd think that the church should be the one looking to gain favours.
