Whats a "thread tag"?

Topic started on 12-5-2007 @ 09:47 AM by CX

I'm trying to submit a thread in breaking news but it says that i need to include a tag......could anyone explain what exactly i have to include?

Is it a link, a description, or what?

Thanks,

CX.

A tag is something like a description, for example:
A thread about UFO's could be tagged "Ufo sighting", or "UFO's on tape"
from what i know you don't have to tag a thread. It just makes things easier to find

Yeah, tags are a word or a few words that describe the topic. It is required in Breaking News stories, but optional in other topics.

Tag search feature

With that you can search for threads through tags. Put in the tag and it will show you all the threads that have that tag.
