Bush Outlaws All War Protest In United States
By Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers
7-19-07

In one of his most chilling moves to date against his own citizens, the American War Leader has issued a sweeping order this week outlawing all forms of protest against the Iraq war.

President Bush enacted into US law an 'Executive Order' on July 17th titled "Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq", and which says:

"By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, as amended (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.)(IEEPA), the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.)(NEA), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code,

I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, find that, due to the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States posed by acts of violence threatening the peace and stability of Iraq and undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq and to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people, it is in the interests of the United States to take additional steps with respect to the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13303 of May 22, 2003.........

It all started with the political correctness crap that took place in the 1990s. It has only gotten worse over the last ten years..

If one takes the time to find legitimate news and information, they would see that this is completely wrong. Also, could you maybe actually give a more reliable source than RENSE?

"We've finally lost our freedom of expression".

Really? I see nothing but freely expressed opinion herein on a nearly daily basis. Newspapers are continually printing editorials expressing their disdain for the gov't. and its policies. TV, with few exceptions, are full of expressions both for and against.

Sorcha Fall? Rence? C'mon, let's see some sources with just a tad bit more in the way of, oh I don't know, factual veracity?

How about this?

Or this?

Its disheartening to see how easily our rights can just be abolished. Its been happening ever since 9/11 and everyone just went along w/ it b/c they thought the new regulations were for their protection. Most people probably don't even know about any of the new executive orders created by Bush. Though, if they did, would most of them even care? Or would they buy into the idea that its all for our own good?

that clearly says it applies to people who use violence to thwart progress in Iraq. In this country we are allowed peaceful protest. There is nothing unconstitutional about outlawing violent protest; in fact it's already illeagle.
