Tancredo: U.S. Should Threaten Islamic Holy Sites

It's about time someone thought of an effect determinant against Muslim extremist terrorists.

We all know that certain evil Muslim religious leader have brainwashed some into wanting to die to make it to heaven, 72 virgins.....

We know they are willing to die to kill/bomb/nuke the US.

HOWEVER!!!!!

If they fully realized that that action would result in the vaporization of their high holy sites, they may be deterred.

I think it is fairly easy to convince uneducated to kill others and die in the process, but if it was clear in all their minds that that would result in the vaporization of Mecca and medina; they "might" be deterred.

I doubt any Muslim (but I could be wrong) would want to be responsible for the complete destruction of their holiest sites-one that every Muslim is supposed to visit once in their lifetime.

Personally I am sick of everyone worrying about upsetting them and they having them going on killing spree's-time to stop giving to their demand and start putting them in their place.


Now I am not suggesting this action be taken "UNLESS" they make a biological/nuclear attack on US/US Allie.

Be very clear, this would be a response, not a first strike.

Since they don't fear death, do you think they would fear losing their 2 holiest sites-pipe in and post your opinion.

I know this will be a loaded post and I urge all to "KEEP TO THE TOPIC" NO PERSONAL ATTACKS to me or any poster.

Tancredo and his ilk should be nuked from orbit... it's the only way to be sure.

Their stupidity is a threat to the survival of the rest of the species.

I figure if they know what will happen, it might deter them.

It's just sick - you do realize Mecca and Medina are cities, cities full of people who have nothing to do with terrorism against the US?

Aside from the fact that it would be strategically self-defeating, consider the simple inhumanity of incinerating tens of thousands of innocent people in order to "make a point"?

What makes us any better than the terrorist fanatics if we are willing to sink so low?

And why would it deter them?

It would be the greatest gift we could ever give them - an act they could get people to kill in the name of for centuries. It would drive practically every Muslim on the planet into their camp.

If your gonna wipe out Mecca might as well wipe out the rest of the Muslim world too to stop any retaliation.

Better yet, make it look like China did it or something.

We are already in a religious war that wil probably last for the next hundred years.

I am not in favor of doing what Tancredo is suggesting. However, I can guarantee you that they wouldn't hesitate to bomb our churches. They don't have any respect for God or humanity; they are just killers in my honest opinion.

We (and not just us, but the majority of the Islamic world as well) are in a conflict with a fringe element of fanatics that are generally only able to make sporadic suicide attacks against mostly undefended targets.

Nuke Mecca and Medina and they won't be a fringe element anymore, but a majority, and they'll be able to do a lot more than the occasional suicide bombing.

The idea is completely insane.

I didn't say it wasn't...What I am saying is that Christianity and Islam are renewing the crusades in an effort to regain lost power in the world. The world populace isn't going to have it though...

Now im not in favor of using nucular weapons, but i think we should serouisly change our arrouch on the war. Drasticly diffrent. Develope a new way to 'siege' cities

Its a good plan that i have been working on, it would work flawless ly, and with out man power/contractors over there it would work very effiently, clearing entire reagion within a week.

All it'll do it make them see us as a sort of Anti-Christ. A Muslim equivalent. It'll unite Muslims against us and cause a massive growth of Muslim fundamentalist movements. If you think today's terrorism is bad (it really isn't), you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Then again, some people would benefit from widespread fear and bloodshed. It's easy to convince people to give you power then... We'd be looking at someone with the power to become the next Hitler.

I am appualed by your reaction to Tancredo, i hear him regulaly on local talk radio, and the man has a plan, he is far supirior then the nobodys running for the Reps. now.

Tancredo is one of the few people in congress that led the charge that defeated the imigration bill, Tancredo has also put legislation into effect that comes down on "sancuary Cities" which are no longer confined to the us-mexico boarder area

Should he run the war, hell no, that is for the generals.

Tancredo is a good candidate... However, what he is proposing here is wrong and won't work. Unfortunately, people like Tancredo,Hunter and Paul really don't stand a chance in this election. They don't have the big corporate dollars supporting them.

Fella, the renewed crusades have already started. However, all the Muslims and Christians are doing is gaining hatred, not converts.

It is a fact that they, (ilsmofacists) have declared a holy war againt western culture.

However, here on home turf, our population, and a good portion of our represntatives in congress, seem ignorrant to the fact that we are going to be engaging in a gernational battle, our countires reluctence to engage in total war with the enemy, will be own undoing if not changed.

I tired of our military walking on egg shells, and having to consult a lawyer if they want to fight an enemy.

Also, the muslens are indeed, gaining many converts, and slaughting those who resist.

It will be short lived. They are only gaining converts through fear.

All I can say is that what the Muslims and Christians are lining themselves up for is an all out war between those who are just spiritual,not religious, and the secularists on one side, and the so-called Christians and Muslims on the other side. When that happens, there's not going to be a happy ending for the Christian and Muslim traditions.
