The original use for the gun law was to protect americans from british invasion. Geez.. I'm canadian and I know this....proves my point ...that americans are basically idiots.

I've noticed your last few posts that seem to have the intent of pushing the idea that Americans are idiots. As far as this topic goes, there are so many reasons for people to own guns and you should do your research here on ATS before posting such an obviously uneducated opinion.

My Opinion

Whats wrong with guns? you can hunt for food with them, you can target

practice, protect your family from robbery and much more.

Just because somebody doesnt like guns doesnt mean that everybody who uses

one is stupid or ignorant.

you obviously have absolutely no clue what it is like to live in a crime infested city, where, even if our wonderful, street experienced politicians took guns away from law abiding citizens, criminals WOULD STILL GET GUNS ILLEGALLY,AS THEY ALREADY DO. i go almost nowhere withou one for protection,as i have already been threatened by the methheads in my area. you cannot mace them,you cannot beat them up, and you really cannot knife them without risking serious injury, as meth can give people superhuman strength that they normally do not have. and i'll be dammned if my family has to attend my funeral because of bastards like you who want to take our right to self defense away. i am so glad that you do not live here in america...

the links you provided prove nothing, there are nuts all over the world and will kill with or with out guns. Law abiding citizens who own guns don't go around shooting people.

Since you believe what the media tells you, maybe Americans aren't the only "idiots". You really should read some of the topics about guns here on ATS. Get informed on why people feel the need to have them.

Personally I've never felt the need to own a gun but after learning what is really going on in this country, I will have one very soon and know how to use it.

Damn You Americans get so sensitive . No wonder you always need reassurance that you are the kings...lol.

Make sure not to kill yourself...lol. The end with hole is the bad part.
