For joking that Gandhi ran a gas station in St. Louis: "I have admired the work and life of Gandhi. I truly regret if a lame attempt at humor suggested otherwise.

For a failed health care plan: "I would be the first to admit that we made mistakes along the way, but we did recognize a big problem." "I'm not bitter. We made mistakes. But I actually feel good about the way we ended up. We got people talking about national health care. People say, "Don't give up, so I won't."

For accusing the first Bush of having an affair: "It was a mistake. People were asking me questions at the time and I responded. But nobody knows better then I the pain that can be caused by even discussing rumors in private conversations and I did not mean to be hurtful to anyone."

For her dealings with the news media during Whitewater: "Bill and I failed to recognize the political significance of Whitewater's sudden reappearance which may have contributed to some public relations mistakes in how we handled the growing controversy."

On Arafat: "I made my share of mistakes... the worst during an official visit to Israel in the fall of 1999 when I attended an event as first lady w/ Suha Arafat wife of the Palestinian leader. Mrs Arafat spoke before me in Arabic.... had I been aware of her hateful words I would have denounced them on the spot."

ALL these were taken from a NYT Week in Review section a couple months ago.... lastly, there's a book "The Truth about Hillary" -- has anyone read it, I'd like someone to print the paragraphs where the author alludes she's a lesbian.

Mrs. Bill Clinton on Iraq.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members…

It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons.”

Look no further than my siggy.

Since it'll eventually change, I'll immortalize it here:

Hillary Clinton

I always take time to worship God in as evangelical a way as is feasible, given time and location constraints. As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, really a Christian conservative.

"It's been said, and I think it's accurate, that my husband was obsessed by terrorism in general and al-Qaida in particular." (Hillary telling a post-9/11 world what a 'great' commander in chief her husband was; Dateline, NBC 4/16/2004.)

"I have to admit that a good deal of what my husband and I have learned [about Islam] has come from our daughter." (TruthInMedia.org 8/8/1999 - Hillary at a White House function, proudly tells some Muslim groups she is gaining a greater appreciation of Islam because Chelsea was then taking a class on the "religion of peace")

"Many of you are well enough off that [President Bush's] tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." (Hillary grandstanding at a fund raising speech in San Francisco; SFGate.com 6/28/2004.)

"Why do I have to keep proving to people that I am not a liar?!"
(From the book "The Survivor," by John Harris, p. 382 - Hillary in her 2000 Senate campaign)

"Where's the miserable ##?" (From the book "The Truth About Hillary" by Klein, p. 5 - Hillary shouting at a Secret Service officer)

"No matter what you think about the Iraq war, there is one thing we can all agree on for the next days - we have to salute the courage and bravery of those who are risking their lives to vote and those brave Iraqi and American soldiers fighting to protect their right to vote." (Was posted on Hillary Clinton's senate.gov web site on 1/28/05)

"Put this on the ground! I left my sunglasses in the limo. I need those sunglasses. We need to go back!" (From the book "Dereliction of Duty" p. 71-72 - Hillary to Marine One helicopter pilot to turn back while en route to Air Force One.)

"I mean, you've got a conservative and right-wing press presence with really nothing on the other end of the political spectrum." (C-Span, 1/19/1997 - Hillary complains about the mainstream media, which are all conservatives in her opinion)

This is scary!

We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." (Hillary grandstanding at a fund raising speech in San Francisco; SFGate.com 6/28/2004.)

If that ain't communism I don't know what is. OR maybe Hitler's Germany.

I heart the tables turned. She's your BUSH. Only not dumb. You adore dumb. You hate her because she's smart, and doesn't have a dumb stick. Love that.

By the way, not a fan. Hate Hillary, but you make me want to adore her as the best non-Mormon, drag queen-cousin Marrying President ever.

(laughing) You know I'm right. Enjoy your free healthcare.

...and here's a couple more from Hill:

I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the president.

We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society.

... it's about time we start thinking about the common good and the national interest, instead of just individuals, in our country.

Like the previous poster mentioned, Obama & Billary can go on and on about 'universal' healthcare -- but while the U.S. is in the red $9.1 trillion, I have have no idea how *they* intend to 'balance' the budget:

A. I don't subscribe to a 'party' but thanks (sarcasm) for speculating.

B. Your 'facts' are totally wrong:

en.wikipedia.org...

About 5$ trillion when Billy left office.

Ok, I may be feeling tired today, but isn't what Hilary is doing is talking about taxation. I appreciate that some on the right might not like tax, but you would certainly spend it on the war in Iraq, so you do believe in tax to a degree. That's the communism bit dealt with, but where does 'Hitler's Germany' appear from????

How dare you mention that evil liberal not spending billions on... food not served to troops, poisoned water, torturing of American Citizens...

Also, a better look at who spends more...

I know I know, its ok for two Bush's to spend more then every other president combined because Bill Clinton got head from a 22 year old consenting female and lied about it.

I believe that Clinton wants to rule. Not be President but to RULE!
Now you tell me, her quote is;

"We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

She doesn't say what things, just things. She didn't say money, she said things. Now what things? Well for starters, firearms, then what ever the hell she wants.

I can assure you that in your city, town or county there is someone willing to be a political officer and do the bidding of a dictator.
