Has anyone seen the video on his website? I think it's called "we can change" or something similar.
People are singing the words to one of his speeches...singing! It's about five minutes long and it has all sorts of Hollywood stars chorusing his
words as though they were holy psalms or sacred hymns.
Most people don't even know why it is they like him. He speeches are so empty of meaning, yet full of emotion. It's frightening, honestly. My
brother calleld him the "fill in the blank" candidate.
You would think it is a cult, the way people follow him.
People talk about Bush as being the Antichrist...it could very well be Obama. No? Think about it...
The Antichrist will be a man who can unite the world (at first) and give or appear to give a peace which has never been seen.
Obama grew up in a Muslim family, but now he goes to church just like everyone else. he can reach both sides and without question, if we could find a
way to end the warring between the Arabs and the West, he would be seen as a savior. He would be the man riding a "White Horse" with a crown on his
head.
People who know Scripture, understand that no one but the Father can say when the end is. So in turn, neither does satan. The point? Satan always
has to have someone at the ready to fill in the role...
Just thinking...

IMHO i don't think Obama will be the next president (neither will Hillary), John McCain will win to keep Bush's wars going till 2012-2013. So i
doubt he will be an antichrist without the power.

I think Bush and Cheney are far more frightening since they're more than willing to do just about anything for power.
Including destroying our constitution.
Obama would lose all his support if he tried pulling half the crap Bush has while in office.

I see what you are saying. I worry (fear) when people follow a person with such blind faith. He said the campaign wasn't about him, it was about
you (the hoards in front of him). Who is he kidding? It is all about him.

I think your creepy !!!!!! Anyway try this on for size.
CODE SNIPPET:
Radical Muslims for Obama
With its similarity to popular online sites such as Facebook and MySpace and its links to a network of grassroots blogs, Barack Obama’s campaign
website has been hailed as a testament to the candidate’s transformative politics. But at least part of the senator’s online outreach, “Muslim
Americans for Obama ’08,” proposes installing Muslim prayer areas in public places and giving Muslims time off for prayer and has denounced
Obama’s colleagues in the U.S. Senate who happen to be Jewish. This segment of Obama's online outreach also has ties to unindicted co-conspirators
in terror trials and has recruited Obama supporters from among the ranks of fundamentalist Muslim extremists. ...

I think his speeches are a waste of time all he preaches about is what’s wrong with the country. And I think we already know what’s wrong. But he
never gives any solutions or specifics on what he would do. He sounds more like he's preaching rather than giving a speech and I'm thinking that
there're going to break out in a gospel song soon. Some one asked a group of people who like Obama, name one thing he has done and not one of them
could come up with anything. All I hear people say is he's a good speaker or he nice looking or he has a fresh face or he's nice, but not one thing
about what he's going to do to change things.

Obama is a great speaker and as they say; always beware of a good orator in politics because they are the ones that can sway the masses.
Look at all his popular support. Ditto with Hitler, he could give a speech and have the whole crowd ready to goose step through a brick wall. The only
difference is right vs left.

You're comparing Hitler with Obama?
WTF? I think your whole theory is shot down when you think about how terrible of a speaker George Bush is, and look at what he's done.

And why do you suppose that is? All of the candidates get up there with ideas for everything under the Sun. I am familiar with his plans and what he
wants to do, but people hear 'I have a plan' from EVERY candidate, so they have a hard time remembering specifics.
Perhaps if they would have asked what is different with Obama's policies vs. Hillary's on a specific subject, they might have gotten a better
response. It's how the human brain works. The question should've been more specific.
Also, I would love to hear where I can hear of the exact same question asked to a bunch of McCain or Clinton supporters. Please fill me in as to what
their answers were.

That is ridiculous and ill-informed.
Here, I think I've done a hell of a job debunking this absolutely ridiculous thought:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
Feel free to read through this entire ludicrous thread I took the time to debunk, and maybe you could learn a little something.

So you're basing this thread on some woman's perspective?
I've been around several Obama supporters, and they don't seem any different than any others.
Some lady compared it to a cult, so now that makes it true? Even if so, more so than other candidates?

I heard him say "It's about, you," on Super Tuesday. I was listening to the speech and almost threw up when he said it because it is so clearly a
play on the peoples' emotions. It was a way to drive people into a frenzy...almost religious.
Am I saying he is the Antichrist...no...I'm saying he fits the bill.

You've got to be kidding me. It's basic marketing. Try to find a commercial that isn't that cheezy.
And to say it's 'almost religious', c'mon now. How is that religious as opposed to marketing? It's 'religious' because you want it to be so
that you have a point in this thread, which, as far as I can tell, doesn't seem to have one.

Don't get me wrong. I am not saying I agree, because one woman said it. that is almost an insult to suggest it...and I'm sure you didn't mean
that.
What I see, here and there, is a growing feeling that something is off...and it is. He can do no wrong. His motives are not questioned or doubted.
He is scene as this altruistic man who wants only to serve others....there is no such thing as altruism.

Well, as far as I can tell, it seems to be a difference of perception here and nothing more.
I see people attacking Obama and criticizing everything he does all the time, and you apparently don't.
Do a search here on ATS, and you'll see what I mean.

Marketing wants or covets people buying a product or service. It doesn't try to work people into a frenzy...religions and cult do, however.
Did you see the video on his website? They are singing his spoken words...i think that's a bit more than simple marketing or marketing of any sort.
It's propaganda.

I think you are correct... It is a difference in the way you and I are viewing things. I am sorry if I came across in a way I didn't mean.
Understand, I look at things from the point of view of my religious beliefs and some may say they cloud my vision. I tend to think it is the only way
a person of true conviction should see things. Again, I am sorry if I came across wrong...
