Mitt Romney... word selection

Topic started on 9-2-2008 @ 12:34 AM by SteveAndrew

Did you guys notice all of the Romney campaign saying suspend his campaign and not end? Makes me wonder if Romney made a deal for a Veepspot (wouldn't like that) but let's see what happens.

I noticed his conservative Mad Lib bow out. Gays, porn and terror made him drop out. He wants Clinton to win so bad, he can taste a 2012 run already.

Reading your post over and over again I can tell you are not replying with the subject in mind. Rather, you are trying to twist the subject around and play it up as something factually inaccurate.

I also noticed that. They (media) said he "suspended" his run.

Suspended does not necessarily mean he dropped out.

I figured out why there is a difference. If you end your race you can't hold your delegates but when you suspend your campaign your name is still on the ballot and you still maintain your delegates.

McCain now has about 1100 delegates and need about 78 to win the nomination. Maybe a McCain/Romney ticket? Maybe...

I thought Romney would have made a come back after 'suspending' his candidacy for president. But after his endorsement with McCain, I do see a McCain/Romney hookup in this upcoming November 2008 election. Most presidents of the United States have served the country, by the way. And who else is better qualified to inherit the Iraq war than McCain?
