country's acquiescence -- the type of attack that, six months later, proved to be successful.
At the time, Obama was roundly criticized for his remarks, both by his Democratic competitors for the White House and by the Bush administration
It's not succesful. It's as an abysmal failure as all attacks on al-Qaeda have ever been. Some terrorists are dead. Great! They've probably already
been replaced. Al Qaeda isn't the least bit affected negatively in the long run by this strike.
