Why can't I set the proper time zone?

Topic started on 7-3-2008 @ 05:33 PM by Vanitas

Whenever I've tried to set my current time zone (it changes from time to time), I've never been able to do it. But the funny thing is, the only malfunctioning "zones" seem to be GMT +1 or 2. Whenever I set the time to one of those two time zones and press "submit", the time zone for either "Kabul" or "Baghdad" appears. (That is not the case if I set to, say, the time zone of the Azores or "earlier": then it works just fine.)

It's really, really annoying.

I don't mean to be fastidious, but if the option is there, then it would be a good idea to enable it for proper functioning.

What are you trying to change the time zone of? Is it your computer, or the boards, or something else?

Experiencing the same problem and I've read it's some bug. However, it's a very annoying one and it's been here as long as I am member.

I would say it is time to fix it, mods
