Just one point, if 98 million Americans were given the SV40 virus-infected vaccines did they all get cancer?
If the answer is no, then there is not a strong association between containing SV40 viral sequences and cancers.
The virus, full name Simian (monkey) Virus 40 (the 40th Simian Virus discovered in cells grown in labs), seems to induce cancers in other species no
doubt but it was reckless scientific technique that caused the contamination of poliovirus vaccines.
The original aim was to weaken (or attenuate) the original poliovirus strains by growing them in living cells. Most viruses do not survive for long
outside of a living cell. the mistake was made when the virus was grown in monkey cells, because the cells contained viruses unknown to humans.
When the weakened poliovirus was purified for use in a vaccine, the SV40 would also naturally contaminate the vaccine. There is no doubt that SV40
can cause cancer in hamsters but the dosage should be questioned. You should also know of the aphorism: 'given a large dose of anything, rats get
cancer!'
In humans, if I recall this correctly, you need several stochastic (chance)events to generate cancers in human beings.
The real crime in this story is that the pharmaceutical firm continued to produce and distribute contaminated vaccine to generate profits even after
strong evidence was available for the adverse effects of SV40 and that the Government health agencies were complicit in the cover-up.
