SANTA FE, N.M. - New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, the nation's only Hispanic governor, is endorsing Sen. Barack Obama for president, calling
him a "once-in-a- lifetime leader" who can unite the nation and restore America's international leadership.
Richardson, who dropped out of the Democratic race in January, is to appear with Obama on Friday at a campaign event in Portland, Ore., The Associated
Press has learned. (visit the link for the full news article)

This is a long awaited endorsement and hurts the Clinton Campaign which really wanted Richardson.
Richardson is an important Hispanic figure and this may be a signal to more super delegates to end this protracted campaign before it ruins the
Democrats.

As I am watching this endorsement, I am wondering if Richardson might be on Obama's short list of VP candidates....after all Richardson is Hispanic,
well liked and knowledgeable on US Foreign Policy. Just a thought.

Exactly.....
Gov. Bill will bring the expertise to the ticket that Obama lacks.

I was thinking that myself, as well as, Richardson would help Obama with the Hispanic vote, which he will need in the general election.

The Clinton campaign has gone crazy...why are they attacking Ricardson for supporting Obama? Today James Carville call him a Judas...seeking 30
pieces of silver. WHAT!
The man just endorsed Obama based on his conscience and now he is being attacked like that by his fellow democrats from the Clinton campaign! WOW

I live in Santa Fe and I like Richardson, a lot. He has been good for New Mexico, and I think he would be a good VP or even President.
The Clintons...I am just blown away by them. I am a progressive, democrat by default at to moment, and I have learned to loath them. I had mixed
feeling with Bill, but now this, it is simply over the line.
The gull to act so blatantly for their own good and not for the good of the people is shocking. I am in no place to predict how this primary will turn
out, but if Clinton l looses I would have to think that this would be the end of her, and Bill's political careers. At the least they would have to
pass the roll to Chelsea.
Regardless, they have lost my respect and I don't see them ever being able to regain it.
