We set that number when we send out the u2u, no point in sending a huge u2u that will bog the db server down unless it's really important.

Edit to add: I was mistaken in my number... We average a little over 3,000 members a day logging on, the 1500 was the past 6 hours.

Ah good to know Springer. I always took the number in the U2U to relate to the actual number of members signed on.

That will be my edjumakation for the day!

Ha! If I hadn't knocked my partner on the head this morning with an email reminder of this thread and his promise of points you all would still be wondering where the bloody points were!

your jobs have to be a real pain sometimes, like last week SO hunting down all those ads with the voices. Man the ad ops where addin' them as fast as he was pullin' em. He got them all down in less then 2 hours.. i am sure that is the least of the problems you folks face every day.
