More Liberal Fallout

Topic started on 4-4-2008 @ 10:22 PM by semperfortis

This year is looking batter and better for Conservatives.

As Liberal as John McCain is, the two choices the Democrats have are between Socialism and well... Socialism...

So it is with a glad heart and warm tidings that I present another wonderful foo-pah in the ongoing saga of.....

Which Socialist will it be?

Jane Fonda (Hanoi Jane) Endorses Obama... (Hillary LOVES IT)

Jane Fonda, the actress and ardent anti-Vietnam War advocate who visited North Vietnam during those hostilities, has endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president.

Obama, who was recently named the most liberal member of the Senate by the nonpartisan National Journal

during Fonda's controversial wartime visit to North Vietnam, she was photographed at a Communist anti-aircraft gun battery.

So Fonda who a generation before would have faced Treason chargers has endorsed a candidate who appears to be a racist or in the very least a hypercritic(SP?) . I can remember catching the end of an interview with Fonda on a current affairs show and the point was raised that Kiwi Vietnam vets are still upset about her antics.

Need I say more ?

Semper, no one gives a rats ass who Fonda endorses at least on the left. It seems the only ones getting excited over this and for some god forsaker reason thinks it matters are conservatives.

Actually yes I do. Hillary is no liberal.... take it from one. She is just a little more left of center than McCain when all is said and done... that is why I refer to her as the status quo candidate of the Democratic party.

WOW...

You liberals can't make up your minds....

First Bill and Hillary were your Gods and you worshiped them with all your heart, now that someone more liberal and closer to the Socialist ideal is running, you abandon ship and all of a sudden your former Gods have been sullied and are cast aside...

Have you no allegiance to anything except Socialism?

This is at least an entertaining election cycle, watching you Liberals fall to pieces, switch allegiances and fight among yourselves is absolutely worth paying for...

You can't get this in the theaters...

Now don't go clumping all of us together. I liked Bill yes, but that was then and that was him, not her.

Oh BTW take it from a self avowed socialist (in some things), the Democratic party is not socialist nor are their policies... they are the slightly left of center version of the ruling class in this country just like the Republicans are the slightly right version of the same thing. The same people (or class) control both and they are most certainly not socialists.

I kinda agree. The REAL Democratic party is not (or was not) socialist. However, the new (younger) democrats definately are socialists and not democrats, even though they call themselves democrats.

IMHO

*and by 'young' I mean 45 or younger.

This post is like if I posted a "Conservative Fall Out" Everytime one got caught with a little boy or girl. Sure it would be nice to post a new topic every day but really it gets boring seeing another Presidential Campaign manager or Abused and Missing Children Committee chairman or Presidential Candidate or Senator or Rep or Cabinet Member raping little kids.

These "liberal"/ "conservative" appelations are meaningless without an indicator for personal liberty and economic liberty.

Hillary is not a liberal by a long shot... shes a big statist, who wants control over fiscal and social liberties of the american people.

McCain seems to waiver on everything.

Take it from someone who has seen issue-less politics; these candidates dont really represent their party's views... its all just a battle for the "centre ground".
