Issues with the "Reply To" button?

Is anyone else experiencing this..

When you hit the Reply to button and it opens up a new tab or window for your reply it sometimes doesn't display the necessary BBCode that your replying to a user in the text box?

Minor annoyance but I notice it sometimes keeps happening very frequently doesn't matter which board or thread I'm on and other times it doesn't happen once that day.

Test.

Look at the page number in the address bar - if there is an apostrophe ( ' ) after the page number the reply function doesn't work for some reason.

Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't.

Remove the apostrophe, reload the page (hit enter after removal) then the reply function will work.

It's a funny glitch, but no problem once you know what to look for.

Thanks man, problem solved. Getting rid of the apostrophes does the trick.

A mod (can't remember who) told me about it when I first joined, and I've been passing it on ever since, when someone has an issue with it

I'd love to be able to take the credit, but I suppose as long as the info is disseminated and people benefit, that's the important thing

I reply to and the reply goes nowhere? I see that I have posted in the thread under my posts in my profile but when i click on the thread and scroll down my post isn't there??

Testing a reply as none of my last few have appeared....

Easiest way...

First click the "this post" button on the post you wish to reply to...

Then click the "Reply To:" and you should get results every time..

ok here's what i've just experienced. when I clicked on the thread name among the list of all the threads in this category i don't see my posts... however i see my name in the last post column and if i click on my name then i see all the posts i was missing.. does this sound right?
