I respect the way that ATS tries to keep topics relevant and avoid useless nonsense in threads. In fact, that's one of the best things about this
place.
BUT, lots of boards have places where people can "let down their hair" a bit, post weird little "mental doodles" and kind of chill out without
having to stay on topic or be so structured. You could call it the "coffee lounge" or the "chillout room" or whatever. Just a kind of "anything
goes" zone.
There doesn't seem to be a place like this on ATS, and ATS has so many diffent forums, so why not just add one more? Lots of people find this kind of
discourse annoying, but they wouldn't have to visit that board if they felt so. Sometimes some suprisingly creative and interesting conversations can
come out of such freewheeling environments.
What do people think?
